Our hobbies are skiing, tennis, walking, going to the beach, sunsets, playing with our dog. Ric especially enjoys gourment cooking and learning new things He is invovled with Kiwanis and getting books to children through out the area. Christie enjoys yoga, reading and is on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Cardiff Library and is invovled with Rancho Coastal Humane Society's "Love on a Leash" Program.  Our experience in Real Estate has been since 1986. We have found it extremely rewarding and we have enjoyed every aspect. Christie's father was in the Navy and she understands personally the trauma of relocating and its affect on families. She was born in Oceanside, then moved to Illinois, spent Grade 2 in Carlsbad, moved to Maryland, and came back to San Diego and lived in Navy housing near 32nd Street. Her family then moved to San Carlos, then to Virginia and then back to San Carlos, where she went to Patrick Henry High School....yes moving was a fact of life and tough on kids and families. Home Inspections >Final Inspection
Before buyers close on their new home purchase, they typically make a "walk-through" inspection to ensure that the property is in the same condition as it was when the purchase agreement was drawn up.
Some sellers convey the appliances and major systems "as is," offering no promise that they will be in working order. Other agreements require all of the major mechanical systems, such as heating, plumbing, and air conditioning, to be operational. It depends on the terms that are negotiated between the buyer and seller.
During this inspection, the buyer should check the appliances by turning each one on and letting it run through a full cycle. This gives the buyer a chance to make sure that any repairs that were to be made by the seller prior to the closing have been made. These details are much easier to work out before or during the closing than after the new owners take possession of the home.
